A very nice bloke called Steve writes reviews for netlabel releases at his blog Catching the Waves. The reviews are well written, there is good preview-ability of tracks under review, and best of all, the music is released under the Creative Commons License, so if you like it you can download it and own it straight away, for free!

After completing dj64 v1.1 over christmas, it was time to get stuck into this years RPM Challenge. The goal is to make an entire album (defined as more than 35 minutes / 10 tracks) in the month of February.
I did this challenge last year, and I had quite a disasterous time. I hadn't done any music within the first 6 days, and with time rapidly running out, I managed to get the thing done with hours to spare.
This year was a completely different story. I started ploughing into the album on February 1st, and within 9 days I had written and recorded 37 minutes of good music! Madness. This allowed me to finish a few more tunes the following week, then tidy everything up, get some good mixes, and master the following week, and within three weeks it was done. awesome.
I would love to release it somewhere, but I feel it will take a bit of a netlabel hunt to find a suitable home for it. In the meantime, you can listen to the entire release at my soundcloud page.

I have very recently completed a new album. 'Sprinkling Rainbows' is the follow-up to my previous album 'Grating Rainbows'. The tracks are fairly old, but previously unreleased so I felt compelled to share them. You can listen to them all here if you like.
The album is due for release at the quite magnificent Monotonik netlabel. The artwork will be done by Hannah Vincent, and should be finished soon.

I have been been doing a few gigs lately. I played at Shambala Festival 08 over the summer, in a mad dome tent with 360 degree visuals covering the entire ceiling! I also played at Glitchnight in London in November, a fun evening with great visuals supplied by James Drake. I also played a funk and breakbeat dj set at 'Sketch' on Conduit Street near Oxford Circus a few weeks ago.
I finally reached the stage where the application is stable and worthy of release. See the release page here, and the community discussion here.
I am now working on ironing out bugs, and adding features requested by the community. There is talk of the creation of version 2 in Max/MSP 5, but it is only early stages of planning.
I have nearly finished my Max/MSP patch for the 'monome' interface called 'dj64'. It allows the user to model the actions of conventional turntables, with additional effects that are based on 'Beatlookup' (Reaktor) by CList.
I started the project about 20 months ago, and version 1.1 will be released to the monome community soon.
The EP "Cygnet Wallop", my collaboration with the very talented Oddskool, is now finished. It has been sent to Machine Records and should be released soon.
